Basketball Recap: Gospel Light Christian Falls Short of Christian Ministries Academy in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Gospel Light Christian can now relate to. They lost 57-37 to the Christian Ministries Academy Conquerors on Friday. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Conquerors earlier this season, when they won 78-63.

Nolan Bradshaw continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Christian Ministries Academy, dropping a double-double with 28 points and 13 boards. That's the most rebounds Bradshaw has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Hicks, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards.

Gospel Light Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Christian Ministries Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Gospel Light Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Christian Ministries Academy, they have already played their next contest, a 60-57 victory against Fayetteville Christian on the 15th.
