King's Fork had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Indian River Braves 71-33. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 15th, while the Braves are ranked 99th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

King's Fork's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Indian River, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

King's Fork will challenge Grassfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. King's Fork has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
