Soccer Recap: LAMP Takes a Loss

LAMP lost against Montgomery Catholic back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Golden Tigers came up short against the Knights, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, LAMP can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 149th, while Montgomery Catholic are ranked 43rd).

This is the second loss in a row for LAMP and nudges their season record down to 2-6. As for Montgomery Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. LAMP will take on rival Tallassee at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Montgomery Catholic is set to challenge their familiar foe Trinity Presbyterian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
