Softball Recap: Lynbrook Comes Up Short

Lynbrook entered their match against Long Beach on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Owls came up short against the Marines, falling 15-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Owls have suffered since April 8th.

Bianca Lobosco made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run.

Lynbrook's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Long Beach, the win was the fifth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 2-0.

Lynbrook didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-0 defeat against Washington on the 7th. Long Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
