Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends Northeast's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Northeast unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Largo Packers. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Packers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

Northeast started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 27-25, 25-13, 25-18.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Largo, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeast will venture away from home to face off against Seminole at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Largo, they will face off against St. Petersburg Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
