Baseball Game Preview: Eastside Ghosts vs. Passaic County Tech Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Eastside will face off against Passaic County Tech. The Ghosts will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against the Bulldogs at 4:15 p.m. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Eastside has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Passaic County Tech will arrive with five straight wins.

Eastside came up short against Passaic County Tech on Monday, falling 8-2.

Eastside got a good showing from Elian Colon, who tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs but no hits.

At the plate, Eastside saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Angel Sosa, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Passaic County Tech's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Eastside, they now have a losing record of 9-10.
