Volleyball Game Preview: Vasquez Mustangs vs. Trinity Classical Academy Knights

The Vasquez Mustangs will square off against the Trinity Classical Academy Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Vasquez is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last eight games.

Last Thursday, Vasquez made easy work of The Palmdale Aerospace Academy and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Vasquez not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept The Palmdale Aerospace Academy between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Trinity Classical Academy came up short against Castaic on Monday and fell 3-1. The Knights have struggled against the Coyotes recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 18-25, 25-15, 25-18.

Trinity Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Vasquez, their win bumped their record up to 16-3.

Vasquez was able to grind out a solid victory over Trinity Classical Academy in their previous matchup on Tuesday, winning 3-1. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
