Basketball Recap: Freedom Prep Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against First Assembly Christian

Freedom Prep Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 64-43 to the First Assembly Christian Crusaders on Tuesday.

DANIEL TOWLES was nothing short of spectacular for First Assembly Christian: he dropped a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of EDDIE SUMMERALL, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 12 points and five steals.

Coming up, Freedom Prep Academy will venture away from home to challenge Crosstown at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for First Assembly Christian, they will host Memphis Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
