Softball Game Preview: Carlisle County Comets vs. Fulton County Pilots

Carlisle County is a perfect 10-0 against Fulton County since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Comets will venture away from home to square off against the Pilots at 5:30 p.m. Carlisle County has given up an average of 9.5 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Graves County hit Carlisle County with a seven-run fourth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Comets lost 11-1 to the Eagles. The Comets haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Fulton County came up short against Fulton City on Tuesday, falling 24-13. The Pilots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carlisle County's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Fulton County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.
