Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin came tearing into  Friday's  matchup with seven straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Beaumont School Blue Streaks as they made off with  an  18-5 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  13-6  last Wednesday.
 Alex Mould was a  major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-2 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  Lily Rader was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.  Maya Rowan also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  triple of the season.
 Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .629. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Beaumont School only posted  an  OBP of  .409.
Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 11-5. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Beaumont School,  they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-10.
