Claxton has gone a perfect 3-0 against Brantley County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Tigers will host the Herons at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Claxton is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals last Friday, they were much more limited against Tattnall County on Tuesday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 5-0.

Meanwhile, Brantley County was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 7-2 to Ware County. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Brantley County were already down 6-0.

Steven Cook and Breno Freitas scored both of Brantley County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 21 goals.

Claxton's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Brantley County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.

Claxton got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in February of 2025 against Brantley County by a conclusive 6-0 score. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Herons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
