Howells-Dodge has gone 8-2 against Lutheran-Northeast recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Howells-Dodge Jaguars will take on the Lutheran-Northeast Eagles at 7:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Howells-Dodge is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Guardian Angels Central Catholic just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 65-50 bruising from the Bluejays.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jordyn Ratzlaff, who went 5 for 12 on her way to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Brichacek, who posted ten points and eight boards.

Meanwhile, Lutheran-Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against Wakefield, falling 46-25. The Eagles were down 36-10 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the loss, Lutheran-Northeast saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Mackenzie Mcdonald put up 11 points. Those 11 points gave Mcdonald a new career-high.

Lutheran-Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Howells-Dodge, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Howells-Dodge was able to grind out a solid victory over Lutheran-Northeast in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, winning 47-38. Will Howells-Dodge repeat their success, or does Lutheran-Northeast have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
