Football Game Preview: Aplington-Parkersburg vs. West Marshall

On Friday West Marshall take on Aplington-Parkersburg at 7:30 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps state rankings predict a close match.

Their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to West Marshall, but their most recent match may have softened the blow. They came out on top against Denver with a 34-20.

Aplington-Parkersburg had a rough outing against Dike-New Hartford, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Aplington-Parkersburg secured a 21-17 W over Iowa Falls-Alden. The score was all tied up at the break, but Aplington-Parkersburg were the better team in the second half.

Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 2-1. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Aplington-Parkersburg and West Marshall clash.
