Baseball Recap: Bergen Tech Knights vs. Teaneck Highwaymen
If Bergen Tech was feeling good fresh off their 9-3 takedown of Eastside on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights fell 8-4 to the Teaneck Highwaymen on Friday. The Knights were not able to make up for their loss to the Highwaymen from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.
Bergen Tech got a good showing from Thomas Ficetola, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Ficetola has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Bergen Tech saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Huber, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Tiernan O'Rourke was another, earning two runs and two stolen bases.
