On Monday, while Palmetto put up some runs, the same can't be said for Lennard. The Palmetto Tigers walked away with a 4-0 win over the Lennard Longhorns. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Palmetto.
Baden Wallace looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched.
At the plate, Andrew Spahn was incredible, going 1-for-2 with a home run and two RBI.
On Lennard's side, they got a good showing from Pablo Garcia, who pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (he also didn't allow any walks).
On the hitting side, Lennard saw one different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kevin Hunter, who went 1-for-3 with a double.
Palmetto's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-6. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs per game. As for Lennard, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
