            Millard North hasn't had much luck against Millard South recently, but that could start to change  on Wednesday. The Mustangs will welcome the Patriots  at 4:30  p.m. The two teams are out to turn their luck around after having lost tight contests in their previous games.
On Tuesday, Millard North didn't have quite enough to beat Elkhorn North and fell  4-2. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Noah Gartner was a  force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he  pitched five innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   three  hits. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-low in  walks (zero).
 At the plate, Millard North saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Alex Buresh, who  went 1-for-2 with one  run.
 The scorekeeper got an easy start  on Tuesday as neither Millard South nor Omaha Westside made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Patriots fell just short of the Warriors by a score of  4-2. Having soared to a lofty 12  runs in the game before, the Patriots couldn't push the score so high this time.
 Millard South's loss dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Millard North, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.
