Tyler Zimmerhanzel leads St. Mary's to victory over Griffin School

Recap: St. Mary's vs. Griffin School Griffins
On Thursday, St. Mary was able to grind out a solid victory over Griffin School, taking the game 50-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for St. Mary's.
Tyler Zimmerhanzel was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 18 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of St. Mary's points. Another player making a difference was Brady Altman, who scored ten points.
St. Mary's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Griffin School, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Mary's will take on Sterling Classical at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Griffin School, they will play host again and welcome Austin Peace Academy, where tip off is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Austin Peace Academy is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
