Soccer Recap: Galway Comes Up Short

Galway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-1 to the Oppenheim-Ephratah Hawks. That's two games in a row now that Galway have lost by exactly three goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Norah Schaperjahn, who's now up to two this season.

Galway's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Oppenheim-Ephratah, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Galway will challenge Cobleskill-Richmondville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Oppenheim-Ephratah, they will head out to challenge Mekeel Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
