Softball Recap: Point Pleasant Boro Comes Up Short

Point Pleasant Boro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 4-1 to the Central Regional Golden Eagles. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Golden Eagles earlier this season, when they won 17-3.

Point Pleasant Boro's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Central Regional, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Point Pleasant Boro will head out on the road to challenge Southern Regional at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Central Regional has already played their next match (against West Side), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
