Basketball Recap: St. Margaret's Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

St. Margaret hadn't done well against Capistrano Valley Christian recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Tartans came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 55-45. This was payback for the Tartans, who suffered a 76-48 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Capistrano Valley Christian still got an impressive performance from Benjamin Makelela, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 16 boards. Makelela has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more rebounds the last 15 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Andrew Lemery, who posted nine points along with seven boards and five assists.
