Softball Game Preview: School of the Arts Silverhawks vs. Northstar Christian Academy Knights

The School of the Arts Silverhawks are taking a road trip to square off against the Northstar Christian Academy Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

School of the Arts is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Franklin just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Northstar Christian Academy came up short against Bishop Kearney on Friday, falling 20-1. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Kings: they've now lost eight in a row.

Northstar Christian Academy now has a losing record of 5-6. As for School of the Arts, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

School of the Arts was able to grind out a solid victory over Northstar Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, winning 10-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Silverhawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
