After only one run in their last matchup, Metrolina Christian Academy made sure to put some runs up on the board against SouthLake Christian Academy on Monday. The Warriors were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over the Eagles. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 games by seven runs or more this season.

Sully Mellor looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Alex Lerch was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Abram Hargett, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Metrolina Christian Academy, bringing their record up to 23-1. As for SouthLake Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-9.

Metrolina Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Concord Academy on the 29th. As for SouthLake Christian Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 15-2 victory against Gaston Day on the 29th.
