Softball Recap: Chester Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Chester's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 13-9 victory over the Gayville-Volin Raiders. The win was some much needed relief for the Flyers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Chester now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Gayville-Volin, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.

Coming up, Chester will take on Arlington/Lake Preston at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gayville-Volin, they will square off against Avon at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
