Basketball Recap: Durham School of the Arts Victorious

South Granville came into Monday's game looking for another win against Durham School of the Arts, but Kaylen Mumford wouldn't allow it. The Durham School of the Arts Bulldogs came out on top in a nail-biter against the South Granville Vikings on Monday, sneaking past 40-38 thanks in part to Mumford, who went 7 of 16 on her way to 19 points along with eight boards and three steals. What's more, she also posted a 44% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in February of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Faith Yon, who posted 17 points and seven rebounds. She has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 22 times she's played.
