Champion and Badger are an even 3-3 against one another since October of 2017, but not for long. The Golden Flashes will head out on the road to face off against the Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Champion has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with eight straight defeats, while Badger will come in with five straight wins.

Champion lost 3-0 to Crestview on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-11, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Badger got the win against Lordstown on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Badger's got stronger as the match went on, holding Lordstown to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-12, 25-9.

Badger's win came from a few key players Champion will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kyleigh Hall, who had 15 digs and four aces. Those 15 digs gave her a new career-high. Brianna Lendak was another key player, getting 11 kills, ten digs, and six aces.

Badger was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 15 consecutive matchups.

Champion's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Badger, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.

Everything went Champion's way against Badger in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as Champion made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Flashes since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
