Soccer Recap: Center Grove's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Center Grove can now relate to. They fell just short of the Whiteland Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Center Grove came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 18th, while Whiteland are ranked 78th).

Owen Kalmas and Connor Petralia scored both of Center Grove's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.
