Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 19-14 to the Ballard Beavers. Even though they lost, the Lynx's still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 7.3 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Dakota Blokker made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Brienna Minton, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Ballard, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln will head out to face off against Cleveland at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lynx are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Ballard, they will venture away from home to square off against Jackson at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Timberwolves will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Beavers surely won't give up without a fight.
