Basketball Recap: Miller Takes a Loss

Miller was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Grove City Christian Eagles 46-10. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-5.

Grove City Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rylee Thompson, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine boards. Thompson has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Sarah Karlich was another key player, putting up seven points and 16 rebounds.

Miller's defeat dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Grove City Christian, their win bumped their record up to 8-14.

Miller has already played their next matchup, a 67-7 loss against Notre Dame on the 12th. Grove City Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
