Soccer Recap: Classen SAS Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Classen SAS can now relate to. They came up short against the MacArthur Highlanders on Wednesday, falling 3-0. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Classen SAS' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Classen SAS' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-8. As for MacArthur, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season.

Classen SAS does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for MacArthur, they will challenge Booker T. Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Booker T. Washington will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something MacArthur surely won't give up without a fight.
