Softball Recap: Fieldston Eagles vs. Hackley Hornets
Fieldston had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell victim to a tough 21-0 defeat at the hands of the Hackley Hornets. Fieldston has not had much luck with Hackley recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
For Hackley's part, Andrea Hegarty was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out 13 over five innings pitched.
