Basketball Game Preview: Plymouth Big Red vs. New London Wildcats

The Plymouth Big Red will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the New London Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. New London took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Plymouth, who comes in off a win.

Plymouth took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They secured a 55-49 W over Black River.

Meanwhile, New London was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting St. Paul an easy 65-41 victory. One positive for the Wildcats, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

New London's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Plymouth, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
