 McClatchy put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season  on Friday. They put the hurt on the Laguna Creek Cardinals with a sharp  15-5 win. The  victory was familiar territory for McClatchy who now have four in a row.
 McClatchy let  Hailey Toth and  Maia Jacobs loose on the outfield. Toth  went 3-for-4 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs, while  Jacobs  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and a  triple. Another player making a difference was  Jayeliza Rogers, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.
 On Laguna Creek's side,  Ariel Burton was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring a  run while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mia Gonzalez, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 McClatchy now  has a winning record of 8-7. As for Laguna Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McClatchy will take on River City at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday.
