Big Game from Childers As Boaz Won 35-14
Starting off the list is Boaz's Tristan Childers, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Childers rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.
Unfortunately for Sardis, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Childers. When Childers last faced the Lions back in October of 2023, he rushed for 175 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.

Jakai Hudgins Makes It Three for Boaz
Another Boaz player making an appearance on this list is Jakai Hudgins. He picked up 130 receiving yards and a touchdown. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 74 yards.
For the year, Hudgins has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 74.7 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one receiving touchdown.

Douglas had to settle for second on Friday, but Kenyon Watkins sure wasn't going down easily. Nobody could stop Watkins as he rushed for 95 yards.
Douglas has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. Watkins will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Sardis on Friday.
