Circleville dropped their record down to 11-15 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell 5-0 to the Hillsboro Indians. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

As for Hillsboro, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-3. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games.

For Hillsboro's part, not much got past Camryn Spruell, who gave up just three hits and racked up 13 Ks to keep Circleville off the board. Spruell has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Hillsboro's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Choe Roberts, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

As of now, neither Circleville nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
