Baseball Recap: Daphne Wins Going Away Against Hatton

Daphne never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Hatton Hornets.

Daphne has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. Hatton is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Daphne will head out to square off against Bryant at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Daphne 3.7, Bryant 4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Hatton, they are taking a road trip to take on Red Bay at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Red Bay will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Hatton surely won't give up without a fight.
