Soccer Recap: LBJ Austin Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for LBJ Austin after they claimed the first goal on Friday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Travis Rebels by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Jaguars have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Jostin Avalos, who's now up to three this season.

LBJ Austin is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8-3. As for Travis, their victory bumped their record up to 3-15-2.

LBJ Austin wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Florence on the 4th. As for Travis, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Eastside Early College on the 4th.
