Volleyball Recap: Tri-State Christian Huskies vs. Quad Cities Christian Eagles
Tri-State Christian was the 3-1 winner over Quad Cities Christian when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Huskies came up short against the Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Huskies just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row dating back to last season.
While Tri-State Christian ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20, 25-17.
Ella Hilborn paced Tri-State Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Hilborn got some help from Emma Hilborn and her eight assists. Ella also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ellyse Fuerst, racking up three apiece.
