Basketball Recap: Franklin Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Franklin hadn't done well against Windsor recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Franklin Broncos walked away with a 37-26 victory over the Windsor Dukes. For the Broncos, this counts as revenge for the 41-36 win the Dukes walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Franklin's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7. As for Windsor, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Franklin is facing Surry County at the right time seeing as Surry County is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Windsor, they will take on Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
