Volleyball Recap: ALA - Gilbert North's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

ALA - Gilbert North had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mesa Jackrabbits. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Jackrabbits on Friday, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Kristyn Grantham paced ALA - Gilbert North's offense, picking up seven kills. Grantham got some help from Kylie Christiansen and her 15 assists. Christiansen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

ALA - Gilbert North's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Mesa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, ALA - Gilbert North will square off against Ironwood Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mesa, they will host Cibola at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
