Softball Recap: Riverside Drops Season-High Score on North Side

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverside). Everything went their way against the North Side Gators on Tuesday as the Riverside Bulldogs made off with a 20-1 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 14 runs or more this season.

Riverside got a massive performance out of Cheyanne Thompson, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-1. Thompson also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season. Ashton Toten was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 1-for-1.

Riverside is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Riverside will head out on the road to square off against O'Bannon at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Side, they will welcome Simmons at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
