Soccer Recap: Amsterdam Takes a Loss

After flying high against South Glens Falls on Friday, Amsterdam came back down to earth. The Rams lost 4-1 to the Queensbury Spartans on Tuesday. Amsterdam have struggled against Queensbury recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Amsterdam now has a losing record of 6-7-2. As for Queensbury, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 7-7-1.

Amsterdam didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Broadalbin-Perth on the 16th. As for Queensbury, they will challenge Schuylerville at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
