Recap: Tyler HEAT vs. CHAAMP HomeSchool Hawks
Make it 16 blowout wins for Tyler HEAT this season. They blew past CHAAMP HomeSchool, posting a 64-28 victory on the road. Winning may never get old, but Tyler HEAT sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Tyler HEAT's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jackson Tomlin, who scored 13 points along with eight steals and six assists. Tomlin hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Grimes, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Tyler HEAT is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record this season. As for CHAAMP HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tyler HEAT will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Marshall Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. CHAAMP HomeSchool will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on East Texas Homeschool Sports at 7:15 p.m. on February 2nd.
