It was a proper cat-fight when Corning challenged Live Oak on Tuesday. The Cardinals came out on top against the Lions by a score of 3-1. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Corning was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-18, 17-25, 25-20.

Corning's victory bumped their record up to 11-17. As for Live Oak, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-13.

Corning and Live Oak could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings.
