 In what's become a running theme this season, Tyler gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Wednesday. They never let the Ritchie County Rebels onto the board and left with  a   7-0  win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Tyler also won the last time the pair played  back in April.
  Tyler Ferrell made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Ferrell was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Zade Billings, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.  Gabe Jackson was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Tyler's victory bumped their record up to 19-12. As for Ritchie County, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record  this season.
 Tyler will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against St. Marys at 5:00  p.m. St. Marys will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  win, something Tyler surely won't give up without a fight. Ritchie County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
