Soccer Game Preview: Woodinville vs. Inglemoor

The Woodinville Falcons will head out on the road to challenge the Inglemoor Vikings at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Woodinville is headed into Thursday's game hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bothell/Inglemoor on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Woodinville came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked second, while Bothell/Inglemoor are ranked 64th).

Meanwhile, Inglemoor sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Redmond on Tuesday.

Inglemoor is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four games. As for Woodinville, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-2.

Woodinville beat Inglemoor by a goal when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 2-1. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
