Baseball Recap: Martin County Wins Going Away Against Treasure Coast

Martin County never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Treasure Coast Titans with a sharp 10-0 win. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by seven runs or more this season.

Martin County got a great performance from Joseph Cuccurullo as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave Cuccurullo a new career-high.

At the plate, Tanner Paskoski was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. John Thornton was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Martin County's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Treasure Coast, they dropped their record down to 4-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Martin County will welcome Sebring at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Treasure Coast, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Palm Beach Gardens at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Palm Beach Gardens is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season.
