Soccer Recap: Pace Comes Up Short

Pace and Niceville squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Pace had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Niceville Eagles. The loss continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Pace's goal came courtesy of Bree Stankard, which was the first she's scored this season.

Pace's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-1. As for Niceville, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Pace does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Niceville, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Navarre on the 30th.
