Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bloomfield). Everything went their way against the Dunellen Destroyers on Monday as they made off with a 14-2 victory. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Bengals with their most commanding win of the season.

Bloomfield pushed their record up to 5-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Dunellen, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

Looking ahead, Bloomfield will square off against Glen Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bengals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Ridgers have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season. As for Dunellen, they will host Somerset Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
