It's playoff time, and Bergtraum had no trouble coming through when it counted. They skirted past the Queens Metro Knights 42-40. The win was familiar territory for the Blazers, who have now won 12 games in a row.

Bergtraum's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aniaya Burton-Hernandez, who posted eight points in addition to 17 boards and three steals. Burton-Hernandez is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down 11 or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Leia Perez was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Bergtraum's win bumped their record up to 25-6. As for Queens Metro, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Bergtraum will face off against Moore Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Moore Catholic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.2 points per game this season. Queens Metro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
