Basketball Recap: Mountain View Gets the Win

Mountain View posted their closest victory since November 25, 2024 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 63-61 win over the West Side Eagles. This was payback for the Yellowjackets, who suffered a 52-50 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory made it two in a row for Mountain View and bumps their season record up to 2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points over those games. As for West Side, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Mountain View will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Pangburn at 7:00 p.m. As for West Side, they will take on Pottsville in a tournament on Monday.
